  Betcha you are reading this because of the picture, huh?  Well good!  Just wanted to share that I had a clothesline in my stateroom and I would dry my clothes after washing. You may think the line is lopsided, but true to myself, I am a little lopsided....wouldn't you say? Well this is the last post from this fabulous trip.  But let me say, I found God's beauty everyday.  I have been blessed to travel to other countries and see such beauty. After we left Greenland, we visited St John's, Newfoundland, which is off Canada's Atlantic coast.   Greenland Part 2 Due to bad weather and floating icebergs - yes! I said floating icebergs, we could not stop in Paamuit, Greenland. We had an extra sea day and stayed overnight in Nuuk, Greenland. Nuuk is Greenland’s capital. We enjoyed shopping and looking around. The 2 below pictures were taken at 1130 pm. It was weird to have so little nighttime. The highlight was a fjord boat trip to see waterfalls and floating icebergs. Joe got to touch an iceberg and I could feel the clean, crisp freshness of the cold as it emanated off the iceberg. It was an amazing experience. The first mate collected water from a waterfall for us to drink. We never tasted such delicious, cold clean water. Icebergs are simply amazing! Blessings!

  Greenland Part 1 After 2.5 seasons days, we arrived at Qaqortoq, Greenland or Julianehaab, which means Juliane’s hope, named after the Danish Queen Juliane Marie. We walked around and found the Stone & Man, an outdoor art installation launched in the 1990s and enjoyed the sights and scenes of the town and floating icebergs. In the afternoon, we took a boat to an island to see Hvalsey Church, a Catholic Church abandoned by the Greenlandic Norse people. The last written record of the Norse people was a wedding in Hvalsey Church in 1408 and then the natives abandoned this area. We walked around to see other ruins that includes the local bar and storage area. Honestly, this “walk” was more like a hike on slippery grass and rocks. I am clumsy so I was not so thrilled. Between my wonderful hubby and good friends, they gave me a hand to make it up and down on land and back in the boat. But I did it! Enjoy sights of this island. Blessings!

  Hello Fabulous Followers! Today, let me take you on the Azamara Quest as we enjoyed scenic cruising through Prince Christian Sound. I am a native Floridian, so seeing icebergs and glaciers is not a norm for me. How majestic and beautiful. When I gaze upon such beauty, I know God exists and I am blessed to see His handiwork. The pictures will be of the Sound and floating icebergs. Also, Azamara hosts a white night party where tables and food are set up on the pool deck. Our backdrop was the majestic sights of Prince Christian Sound. When we see an iceberg we are only seeing 10%. The other 90% is underwater! Blessings!
