France 2025 - Au Revoir Paris

Bon Jour Fabulous Followers! My blogs have been scattered, because that's how my mind has been thinking.  The first week of our journey has ended and our itinerary did include Normandy Cemetery and Beaches, Monet's Gardens and Paris.  Here are the other stops we made.

Les Andelys - enjoyed a tasty baguette and visited Chateau Gaillard, a medieval castle built in 1196-1198 by Richard the LionHearted, King of England.

Le Havre - Enjoyed a tour around Honfleur with its picturesque houses and maritime flair. It is the 2nd largest French port.

In Honfleur, we toured St. Joseph's Church, an all concrete church dedicated to the French people who dies in World War II.  We then saw a market.  Love the way the French sell fruits, vegetables and meats.

Rouen - historic capital of Normandy, we took a cheese and chocolate tour and walked around town.  Viewed Rouen's beautiful Notre Dame church.

We returned to Paris and saw the village where Van Gogh lived out his last days and enjoyed a boat ride down the Seine and an evening Eiffel Tower show.

Got up extremely early (5:50am) and rode a bus to begin our next week's adventure traveling south of France.

Thanks for joining us on this 1st week's venture and stay tune for the 2nd week.

Blessings!
